You aren’t crazy, your body isn’t your enemy, and things probably ARE that rage-inducing.
Learn therapeutic yoga practices, nervous system regulation techniques, and other somatic skills to demystify navigating perimenopause with pleasure and empowerment. Emily Anderson, a C-IAYT yoga therapist, has 1200+ hours of training with a special focus on the intersections of menstrual health, chronic pain, and nervous system regulation. This somatic wisdom is meant to be shared and discussed in community!
Shedding Season FAQs
Who is Shedding Season for? Shedding Season is for everyone who currently or has menstruated in the past, of all gender identities.
Do I need to be in perimenopause? Shedding Season is for people in all stages of the perimenopause continuum - approaching perimenopause, unsure if they are in perimenopause, VERY SURE they are in perimenopause, and post menopause.
I don't know much about perimenopause, or if I'm near it / in it!? That's ok! Most likely, your primary care doctor doesn't know much either (most primary care doctors have less than 4 hours of training regarding menopause!). Many people will start to notice the first changes or "symptoms" by their late thirties, early forties.
Who else could benefit from Shedding Season? People with PCOS, people with irregular, painful, or heavy menstrual bleeds, and people who don’t menstruate (because of hysterectomies, birth control, etc) and still want to connect with their inner cycle and rhythms. The techniques shared in this program will be very useful!
